Imam Ibn Hazm:

· He explained in Tawq al-Hamaamah that love does not start on earth but on heaven

· Souls meet in the upper universe before they meet on earth. He said:

“Love is scattered parts of souls in the universe. Souls would meet in upper universe, before you meet on earth.” This established during the meethaq that all souls made with Allah testifying that Allah is our Lord.

“When thy Lord drew forth from the children of Adam -- from their loins -- their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?" They said: "Yea! we do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "of this we were never mindful" (Qur’an 7:172).

This theory is based on the following Hadith:

Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said:“Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarized with each other (in the heaven from where these come) would have affinity with one another (in the world) and those amongst them who opposed each other (in the Heaven) would also be divergent (in the world)” (Muslim).

First time doing Henna! Major Amateur -_-

Due to last minute complications, i was asked to do Henna for a Pathways Event. It went great! I had lots of fun doing it.. i must say it turned out better than i thought for my first time!!!

Al-Huda

“By Al-’Asr (the time). Verily, man is in loss. Except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth and recommend one another to patience.” (Quran 103)

Salamu Alaykum Everyone!. Alhamdulilah, i've enrolled in a few classes to keep myself busy in the past couple months. I've enrolled in an Arabic course, Tafsir course and aswell as a 40 hadith course. So far i've completed the first Madina book and i'm currently on Hadith 21/40 Alhamdulilah. After finishing university i really felt as though i had so much spare time that i wasn't taking advantage of. But now Alhamdulilah i don't know what i did with my spare time before this...

I want to dedicate this blogpost to Al-Huda Institue. Alhamdulilah i have found it to be one of the most amazing journeys i've been through thus far. Learning the word-for-word meaning of the Qur'an has been a great blessing. I encourage any of you out there to really enroll in the weekend tafsir course if you have time. You will not regret it. I really can't tell you how much i love it. Every week is a new experience. <3

May Allah increase us all in knowledge and give us the opportunity to benefit from our youth before our old age. Ameen.
